Addis Ababa 16/10/2015 E.C. The African Continent Free Trade national implementation committee was formed today.
The purpose of the formation of the National implementation Committee is to coordinate the stakeholders and facilitate the process to effectively implement the African continent free trade area in Ethiopia. It will work to identify the challenges and opportunities that arise due to the agreement, develop policies and strategies to increase the benefits of the growth of trade and investment to the country.
This committee which helps to implement the African continental free trade area agreement at a country level and to solve the challenges of the implementation has discussed and approved the road map of the 2016 budget year and has given detailed comments on the draft directive for the committee’s establishment.
